Green Terp Launches the World's First and Only APP-less Receiver Solution for Simultaneous Interpretation, Available on Any Mobile Devices

Singapore, April 6, 2022 – Green Terp Technologies Pte Ltd (“Green Terp”), a SaaS provider for multi-lingual meeting and event technologies, announced the launch of the world’s first and only APP-less receiver solution for simultaneous interpreting for onsite, virtual and hybrid events. This will be available on all mobile devices.

With Green Terp’s latest receiver solution, audiences only need to scan a QR Code, which is created for each specific event or meeting, to have instant access to simultaneous interpreting on their mobile phones.

This solution is also available to WeChat and Kakao Talk users. Listening to interpretation is a breeze for them using the floating window mode, and will not affect the normal use of these two apps or mobile phones.

This breakthrough feature has removed the last barrier of access for everyone and anyone with a phone in a meeting or event to listen to simultaneous interpretation. There will be no more excuses or discomfort in downloading and installing another app on our phone which will be used for once only, nor the fear/awkwardness of not knowing how to navigate or use the app.

Our proprietary technology delivers the most ideal audience experience for multilingual communications.

·       There is no need to install any apps or programs

·       The most hygiene solution for audiences

·       No need to borrow or return hardware receivers as in the old days for onsite events

·       Doesn’t drain your phone battery

·       Suitable for events of all formats, onsite, virtual or hybrid(even if audiences need to leave in the middle of the conference, they can still join and listen)

“At Green Terp, our mission is to make simultaneous interpretation as easy and accessible as possible for all event parties. With this APP-less solution, we not only elevate the audience experience for virtual events, but also bring in a new and enhanced option for onsite audience.” said Dr. Bernard Song, the founder and CEO of Green Terp, who is a veteran conference interpreter and computer scientist. “As the world is getting ready to re-open for onsite (and hybrid) in 2022, meeting and event attendees will have access to the most innovative technology from Green Terp to support their seamless multilingual participation experience.”

With Green Terp’s APP-less receiver solution, event organizers are now able to offer a full package of audience solutions for events of all formats, in the meantime,

·       it significantly reduces costs

·       there is no need for manpower to maintain and manage hardware receivers anymore

·       it keeps real-time tracking of active audience that are listening to interpretation

·       it guarantees easy and quick control and operation of both onsite and virtual sessions

Dr. Song added, “What we do is never to improve any available solutions in the market. We go back to the basics, study what’s really needed and then we reinvent. This is how we design and develop all of our solutions, for interpreters, for audiences, for everyone.”
