For as long as simultaneous interpretation has existed, delivering reliable floor sound to the interpreter has been one of the most stubborn and costly problems in the profession. GT Audio Monitor pulls live audio into TerpMate from any source an interpreter can connect to — a venue's mixing console, an AV table, or a simple audio interface. What once required specialized distribution hardware now happens in software, on the machine the interpreter already owns. The interpreter selects the incoming source and hears clean, stable floor audio,ready to work.

No virtual audio drivers — nothing toinstall, nothing to break

Software such as Voicemeeter, NVIDIA Broadcast and Krisp relies on virtual audio drivers and virtual cables to move sound between applications, and those drivers are the hidden reason so many interpreters give up on audio software. Bidule and tour-guide systems are, by their nature, a less-than-standard setup, a team working without a booth and without interpreter consoles. For multilingual relay, they quickly become unworkable.
